about

With the summer hitting its full swing, Josia Loos brings out his EP „Verstrahlt“ (dazed/dazzled) out into the world. Summer usually comes with catchy tracks which end up echoing across Open Air spots in parks, next to lakes and in backyards, eventually becoming everyone's soundtrack for the season. „Voll Schön“ (cheesy way of saying „lovely“) might very well be one of these, with its melodious guitar hook and rosy synths. It's with „Sonne“ however that Josia truly makes an homage to the blazing hero of this season: the sun itself. Like a rising sun indeed, Sonne builds upon layers of elongated harmonies and escalating synths; eventually bringing the vast soundscape to a blistering and saturated peak. After sundown, „Raven“ - high-pitched chords, climbing to dizzying heights - guides adventurous ravers in to entrancing summer nights.
